Kennedy Information’s Recruiting 2008 Conference and Expo was definitely worth the trip. Not only was RecruiTV an exhibitor at the event, but even more exciting was all the wonderful social, engaging, passionate individuals and companies we met while we were there.

If the 2009 show was anything like the 2008 show, the you’ll be certain to see RecruiTV again. Scheduled speakers at the 2008 event included LeapFrog Staffing Director Rose Doughtery, Indeed CEO & Co-founder Paul Forster,  as well as Adidas North America Recruiting Captain Steve Fogarty.

Today, Livemercial, our parent company participated in its first online job fair. We had our expectations, and were not certain what to expect or what the outcome was going to be.

We had 121+ candidates pre-register for the event. Of those candidates there were about 35+ that logged in and answered a set of pre-qualification questions before speaking with a recruiter. We end up with some really strong candidates to be considered for opportunities with Livemercial. How exciting!

I love recruiting events like these and it shows. I have 10 years of Staffing Industry experience and have done several job fair events in person and in many different venues. This was a first for me to participate in an online job fair. And let me say, it was really a lot of fun. I felt I got to speak to more candidates in depth on line versus speaking to them at a traditional job fair.
